Important Notes (IRCC Updates)

  • Most students need a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) or Territorial Attestation Letter (TAL)
  • Students studying in Quebec need CAQ instead of PAL/TAL
  • Funds must cover tuition, living expenses, and return transportation
  • For applications on or after September 1, 2025, living expense proof outside Quebec starts at CAD 22,895 for one person
  • PGWP rules depend on program level, duration, DLI eligibility, and in some cases field of study
